Dashboard

Get a quick overview of your agency's performance, active trips, and upcoming departures at a glance.

What You’ll Find on the Dashboard

The TravelBuilder Pro dashboard is your agency’s agenda — a full-width view of your confirmed trips and tasks. Every time you sign in, you land straight on it: no metrics strip, no widget shelf, just the trips and tasks in front of you.

Business figures (revenue, leads, conversion) live on their own page — see Analytics.

Trips Panel

The Trips Panel fills the dashboard end to end. It shows your confirmed trips and your tasks side by side across a day, a week, or a month.

Range navigator

The bar at the top of the panel opens with a segmented pill: · a label · . Click the label to open the dropdown:

  • Today — a single day (opens the Day grid)
  • This week — 7 days (opens the Week grid)
  • This month and Next month — a full month (opens the Month grid)
  • Next 7 days, Next 30 days, Next 90 days — rolling windows (list display only)

The arrows step by the current unit — click on a week view to jump to the next week, on a month view to jump to the next month. Picking a preset both moves the window and switches the grid to the matching scale, so there is no separate Month · Week · Day switcher.

Display toggle

Beside the filters, a two-icon pill toggles between:

  • Calendar (calendar icon) — the grid view (Day, Week, or Month, depending on the current range)
  • List (list icon) — the same items as a table, using the columns of the Trips list (Trip, Contact, Date, Status, Amount, Payment)

The display is a separate axis from the range — switching to the list and back leaves your range unchanged.

Filters

Click Filters to open the popover, split into two columns:

  • ShowTrips (blue dot) and Tasks (amber dot). Both are ticked by default. Untick one to focus on the other.
  • PaymentsUnpaid or Paid. A single-select applied to the payment status of confirmed trips; tasks are never affected.

Active filters appear as chips below the bar (Trips only, Unpaid, …) with a Reset filters link to clear them at once. The range navigator is not a filter — reset leaves it alone.

A green Active count pill appears between the range navigator and Filters whenever there is at least one trip currently under way in the visible range. Click it to keep only running trips. The pill disappears when the count is zero.

Grids

  • Month — a 6-week grid, squared and edge-to-edge. Each day cell stacks the day’s trips (blue bars) and tasks (amber chips). Days before today carry a soft diagonal hatch.
  • Week — a 7-day grid with trip bars spanning their duration and tasks docked to their due day.
  • Day — a two-column layout (Trips on the left, Tasks on the right) so you can focus on a single day.

Click any day cell in Month or Week to open the day agenda popup — a dialog listing every trip and task on that day, with New trip and New task buttons in the footer.

Trips render as rich cards: a 44-pixel avatar, a kind chip (Departure, Return, or a day badge like Day 3 / 18), dates · duration · pax, and — on confirmed priced trips — a paid/unpaid split bar with an inline · Chase → pill that jumps you straight to a payment reminder. Tasks render as framed chips (red when overdue), matching the red bell used across Tasks.

List display

Switching the display toggle to List renders the same trips and tasks as a table with Trip, Contact, Date, Status, Amount, Payment, and an actions menu, paginated at 30 rows per page. Active in list display surfaces the trips currently under way as one row each (green Day 3 / 18 badge, real departure date), which the grid otherwise omits so that a two-week trip doesn’t repeat on fourteen rows.

Creating from the panel

New trip and New task buttons appear in the day agenda popup (footer and empty state) and in the Day view header:

  • New task opens a contact picker dialog with the day pre-filled.
  • New trip opens the trip editor with the start date pre-filled.

Common Questions

Where did the metrics (Leads, Clients, Revenue, Unpaid) go?

They moved to the Analytics page, at the top of the same view as the charts. Analytics is a Professional and Premium feature (available during the free trial); on Starter, opening it shows an upgrade prompt.

What counts as an “active trip”?

A confirmed trip with fixed dates where today falls between the start and end date. The green Active pill in the panel bar counts those.

Why is my dashboard empty when I sign in?

If you have no trips or tasks in the current range, the panel shows an empty state with New trip and New task buttons. Use the range navigator’s arrows or the dropdown to jump to a period that has content, or create your first trip from there.
