Dashboard

Get a quick overview of your agency's performance, active trips, and upcoming departures at a glance.

What You’ll Find on the Dashboard

The TravelBuilder Pro dashboard is your agency’s home base. Every time you sign in, it gives you an instant snapshot of your business: how many leads and clients you have, upcoming departures, and trips currently in progress.

Performance Metrics

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see 5 key metrics grouped into two sections:

Acquisition & Conversion

  • Leads — new leads added in the last 30 days, with a trend vs. the previous period

  • Clients — contacts converted to clients in the last 30 days

  • Conversion rate — your lead-to-client conversion rate

Finance

  • Revenue — total payments received in the last 30 days

  • Unpaid — outstanding balance across all confirmed trips

Trips Panel

Below the metrics, the Trips Panel is a full-width calendar over your confirmed trips and your tasks. It opens by default with today highlighted — clicking a day opens a side panel with that day’s full agenda.

Use the Month · Week · Day switcher in the top-right corner (aligned with the Today button) to change scale:

  • Month — the whole month at a glance. Each day cell shows a compact stack of the day’s trips and tasks. Hovering a trip opens a rich card with the client, dates, pax count, and — on confirmed priced trips — a paid/unpaid split bar. Click any day cell to open its agenda in a side panel.
  • Week — a 7-day view with trip bars spanning their duration and tasks docked to their due day. The same hover card as Month surfaces trip details without leaving the calendar.
  • Day — a two-column layout (Trips on the left, Tasks on the right) so you can focus on a single day.

All three views use the same calm-agenda row: a small avatar, the trip or task title, and, on unpaid confirmed trips, an inline · Chase → pill that jumps you straight to a payment reminder. Overdue tasks show a red bell everywhere, matching what you see in Tasks.

Use the New trip and New task buttons — available from the panel footer, the empty-state on quiet days, and the Day view header — to create either straight from the selected day:

  • New task opens a contact picker dialog with the date pre-filled.
  • New trip opens the trip editor with the start date pre-filled.

What’s New

Below the Trips Panel, a What's New strip surfaces our latest product announcements as small cards — each with a thumbnail, a one-line description, and a link out to the matching changelog article. Up to three slots are visible at once; empty slots show a More coming soon placeholder so the layout stays balanced. Click any card to open the full article in a new tab.

Quick Actions

At the bottom of the dashboard, shortcut cards let you jump directly to the most common tasks:

  • Create a Trip — start building a new itinerary

  • Create a Client — add a new contact to your CRM

  • Create a Block — add content to your blocks library

  • Get help — open your email client to reach support

  • Manage your team (admins only) — go to team settings

Common Questions

Why are some metrics showing zero? If you just created your account, your metrics will reflect actual data — the demo data from onboarding is counted. Once you start adding real contacts and trips, your numbers will update.

What counts as an “active trip”? A confirmed trip with fixed dates where today falls between the start and end date.

The Unpaid balance seems wrong. Why? The Unpaid figure is the sum of outstanding balances across all confirmed trips: total quote amount minus payments received. Check individual trip payment records if something looks off.
